Battery Factory Direct operates as a battery specialist, not a general mechanical provider. The scope below is what we take dispatch for — anything outside it is reported back to you rather than attempted on site.
Battery testing and diagnosis
Load and conductance testing of the battery, plus charging-system and starter-draw checks to establish whether the battery is actually the fault.
Jump-start assistance
Roadside jump-start where the vehicle is serviceable and the battery does not require replacement.
On-site battery supply and replacement
Replacement fitted at the roadside, driveway, depot or car park, from stock carried or dispatched from the Maddington warehouse.
AGM, EFB and stop-start applications
Correct chemistry matched to the vehicle's original specification, with battery registration to the vehicle BMS where required.
Passenger and light-commercial vehicles
Cars, vans, utes and 4WDs. Heavy vehicle and machinery batteries are supported through the workshop and commercial arm.
Battery warranty support
Warranty assessment and replacement handled directly, so the end customer is not sent back to a manufacturer.
Removal and responsible recycling
The replaced battery is removed from site and sent for lead-acid recycling. No disposal left with the customer.
A working warehouse behind every callout
BFD operates from a workshop and warehouse at Unit 11/95-97 Kelvin Road, Maddington, WA 6109. Batteries are held on the shelf and dispatched from there, which is what allows a roadside job to be closed on the first attendance instead of becoming a return visit once a part arrives.
The same site supports in-workshop testing, warranty assessment and stock replenishment for mobile jobs, and carries the passenger, AGM, EFB and light-commercial ranges that make up the overwhelming majority of roadside battery work.

BFD accepts or declines the job and communicates an ETA, with status updates if conditions change en route.

On-site assessment
The technician attends and assesses the battery and starting system within BFD's scope of work, and reports back if the fault sits outside it.

Jump-start or replacement
The job is completed as authorised — jump-start where that resolves it, or battery replacement where authority and the assessment support it.

Documented and captured
Job notes, timestamps, test results, photographs and the customer outcome are captured to the standard your process requires.

Closed and invoiced
The job is closed against your process and invoiced to the agreed rate card, referencing your PO, job or claim number.

Battery Factory Direct holds a Western Australian motor vehicle repair business licence. Licence details are provided directly to your onboarding team on request.
Documented safe-work procedures
Written WHS policy and safe work method statements covering roadside attendance, traffic-side working, battery handling and electrical safety. Supplied as part of vendor onboarding.
Battery removal and recycling
Replaced lead-acid batteries are removed from site and sent for recycling through established channels rather than left with the customer or disposed of on site.
Job and customer data handling
Customer details received from a dispatching party are used only to complete and document the job, in line with the published privacy policy.
