Everyday driving
The batteries that fail in Booragoon, and why
Booragoon is settled suburb driving — the school run, the shops, the trip to work and back. It sounds gentle on a battery and it is the opposite: a run of a few kilometres never puts back what starting the engine takes out, so the charge level creeps down over months until one cool morning the car won't turn over.
Most trips here run between home and Westfield Booragoon and Primewest Melville Shopping Centre, which is exactly the distance that never fully recharges a battery.
We test the battery and the alternator free before selling you anything — if it's charging fine and just needs a run, we'll tell you that.

Battery replacement in Booragoon
Booragoon is built around Westfield Booragoon — Garden City to anyone who's lived here a while — and shopping-centre carparks are where Perth discovers its flat batteries. The car sits an hour or two in the heat, and one that was marginal on the way in simply won't crank on the way out.
We come to the bay rather than making you get a tow out of a multi-storey: free battery and alternator test on the spot, fitted while you wait if it's the battery, and you drive home instead of leaving the car overnight. Riseley Street and Leach Highway get us in from either direction, about 20km from the counter.
- Delivery to Booragoon quoted upfront, before we load the van
- Free battery and alternator testing, no obligation
- SuperCharge and Exide batteries in stock for common specs
- Your old battery is taken away and recycled at no charge
- Open 24/7, every day of the year

Booragoon FAQ
Common Booragoon questions
Do you deliver batteries to Booragoon?
Yes. Booragoon is 20.2km from our Maddington warehouse — about 25 minutes via Roe Highway and High Road. There's a small delivery fee outside our three 5km free zones (Canning Vale, Maddington and Fremantle), or you can collect from the counter and pay the straight warehouse price. Call 08 9451 4048 for the exact figure.
How much is a car battery in Booragoon?
It depends on the spec — a small sedan and a European AGM are a long way apart. Because we buy factory-direct there's no retail markup in the middle. Call 08 9451 4048 with your rego and you'll get a fixed number, not a range.
How do I get to your warehouse from Booragoon?
Unit 11/95-97 Kelvin Road, Maddington, WA 6109 — about 25 minutes from Booragoon, via Roe Highway and High Road, about 20.2km. Free customer parking on site. Walk in any time we're open, get the battery and the alternator tested free, and have it fitted while you wait.
Are you open after hours if I'm stuck in Booragoon?
Open 24/7 — every day of the year — call 08 9451 4048 day or night. If you're stranded in Booragoon we'll give you a straight ETA rather than a "sometime today", and we'll come to the car.
Do you cover all of the City of Melville?
Yes. Booragoon is one of the City of Melville suburbs we run to, and we deliver across the whole council area — residential, trade and fleet. If you're on the boundary and not sure, call 08 9451 4048 with the street and we'll tell you straight away whether you're inside a free-delivery zone.
What happens to my old battery?
We take it away and recycle it, free, whether we delivered to Booragoon or you walked into the warehouse. Lead-acid is close to fully recyclable and it should never go in a bin — if you've got an old one sitting in the shed, bring it in with you and we'll take that too.
